Study Shows Floridians Eager to Remodel
Florida ranked fourth in the nation for the biggest desire to make home improvements, including bathroom, kitchen and home remodels.
NEW YORK – A new study conducted by New Jersey Real Estate Network revealed the states most eager to fix up their homes, with Florida ranked fourth for the biggest desire to revamp their properties.
Researchers analyzed the following 50 key search terms around remodels. According to the findings, Florida averaged 423 searches per 100,000 people each month, which was 38% higher than the national average of 306 searches per 100,000 residents.
The most popular terms Floridians searched for were "bathroom remodel," "kitchen remodel," and "home remodel." Residents in Florida averaged 23,108 monthly searches for "bathroom remodel," a 108% increase from the 11,075 average monthly searches for "kitchen remodel," indicating demand for bathroom fittings and fixtures will be significantly higher in the state.
